PINNEKJØTT [ˈpinːəˌçøt]
So what exactly is pinnekjøtt? – This 'stick meat' is mutton or lamb, prepared using centuries old dry cured, and sometimes also smoked, food preservation techniques. Twigs of the birch tree is added for flavour. Served with Norwegian Aquavit. This food is not available at any other restaurant in Australia!
