SYDNEY: EABC Book Launch for Stephen Loosley – October 2015

Norwegian Australian Chamber of Commerce attended an EABC Cocktail Reception and Book Launch with Stephen Loosley AM, Chairman of the Australian Strategic Policy Institute and former Senior Vice President of the EABC.Stephen Loosley was General Secretary and later National President of the Australian Labor Party and served in the Australian Senate from 1990-1995. He was Chairman of the Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade Committee and is a regulator contributor to national debate on foreign and security policy issues.

‘Machine Rules’ is a candid political memoir offering insights into the ‘behind the scenes’ dynamics of  party politics, campaigning, fundraising, rumours and scandals. From across the aisle, we are also delighted to have former Howard Government Senate Leader Helen Coonan join us to conduct an interview-style exchange with the author.

The reception will be held in Sydney on Thursday, 3 September 2015 at EABC Headquarters at 43 Phillip Street, Sydney from 5.30 pm to 7.00 pm.
