Keynote speaker Pascal Lamy, former Director-General of the World Trade Organisation and one of the world’s most prominent figures on global trade issues, addressed a corporate luncheon to discuss the current outlook for global trade, including the potentially transformative Trans-Pacific Partnership and Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (EU-US) negotiations, and prospects for an EU-Australia Free Trade Agreement.

A discussion was led by a distinguished panel of EABC members - German-Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce President Lucy Turnbull AO (also Chairman of Prima Biomed), the CEO of Austrade and former Ambassador to the WTO, Bruce Gosper; and former Federal Minister and Chairman of the Australian Capital Equity Advisory Board and Australia-China Council, the Hon Warwick Smith AM.
